CONCEPT COUTURE
How to practice consciousness, not only in words, but also in deeds? How to create for the benefit of humanity, the planet and yourself? How to translate the accumulated knowledge into reality?
The moment when your fulfilled inner transformation is forcing you to transform your world around you, including your creativity and work, is inevitable! To live and work the same way as in your past becomes impossible! After you healed yourself, you realize your responsibility to heal the planet.
What is conscious fashion for me? A branded item with a recycled polyester badge?
In conscious fashion, I see no place for the dictates of trends, manipulated by advertising consumerism which poisons our minds. I see no place for over production and toxic materials that poison both our body and the body of our mother planet.
So how to start the change if you are Couture designer, and Couture seems on the first glance an oxymoron of sustainability? Difficult questions need to be answered:
Should an evening dress become useless after one or two occasions, like a one-day butterfly, even though you are so in love with it? Does chasing trends help us achieve authenticity? Does buying for the sake of buying really satisfy? The answers are easy, but uncomfortable. We do not need a wardrobe full of one day clothing. Daily shopping makes concerns happier – not us. And no, following trends doesn`t make us look individual and iconic.
CONCEPT COUTURE is based on two innovations - MADE TO ORDER & TRANSFORMERS.
Both were born thought the longing for real sustainability and fairness. Fairness for our clients, fairness for the brand and fairness for our planet..
“Quality begins in the mind, it is not only what you buy, but also how you buy.
Our desire is to create a product which combines style, quality and love, which neither has to die after one season, nor is it affected by time or acts of fast fashion.
Style, quality and love are not affected by time and simultaneous they need time: time is our deficit and property nowadays. Take your time to wear what you buy and respect the time of creation. People hunt clothing instead of wearing it, and in the meantime loose sight of what they were initially looking for: authenticity.”
